We are happy to enclose the VSI Book Volunteering 2008, which contains over 500 International Volunteer Projects in over 70 countries worldwide. VSI Info Event on Volunteering

VSI is running an Info Event on its various volunteering programmes on Sat. 5th April next in the ILAC Library, ILAC Centre, Dublin 1 from 2-4.30pm

Membership 2008

VSI relies on the support of our members and volunteers to carry out its yearly programme of activities. We value your support and would ask you to renew your 2008 membership if you have not done so already. (A membership renewal form is on the reverse of this page).

VSI Poster

Please find enclosed 2 copies of the VSI poster. We would really appreciate it, if you could put it up in your college, workplace, local community centre or shop. If you need more copies just get back to us.

Africa, Asia, Latin America Programme 2008

We have received most of the programmes from SCI branches and partner organisations in many of the world's developing countries. In addition we have organised a second set of Preparation Workshops for this years programme. A World Development Workshop will take place on the weekend of the 10/11 May. If you are over 20 years and have some volunteering experience under your belt then contact us for more details deved@vsi.ie

Youth Leaders Needed

The Teenage Programme is currently looking for Youth Leaders. We require people over 21, who have some experience working with young people to help organize and supervise volunteering activities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or minority communities. International leader training will be provided. Commitment required: occasional weekend trips, monthly meetings (weekday evenings) and the possibility of a 2-week exchange (plus three-day preparation trip).
